Chill out with a glass of wine: Westfield's Urban Vines is bringing back its heated igloos

Once again Urban Vines Winery & Brewery in Westfield won't let snow or low temperatures in Central Indiana come between you and a glass of wine on the patio.

The winery is bringing back its popular heated igloos where you can lounge and sip wine on the patio with friends and family this winter. Reservations are now open.

Last year owner Nolan Herron introduced the igloo domes as a new spin on outdoor seating at the winery.

The igloos feature a heater, music and lights and can fit up to eight people. This year they will be available Nov. 1 to March 31, according to the winery's website.

Reservations can be made online at www.urban-wines.com/igloos, and the igloos are expected to book quickly through the winter months.

The igloos can be reserved by groups of eight people for $10 an hour from Wednesday-Sunday and for $20 per hour Thursday-Saturday.

Restaurants and bars in cities such as New York, Chicago and Nashville, Tennessee, also have featured similar igloos for lounging, drinking and dining.

Last year Carmel made similar igloos available for people to lounge at the Center Green during the annual Festival of Ice.
